History

Roy Harper was born to his parents in Star City. At the age of nine, Roy's parents were found murdered in nearby Jump City. When Oliver Queen saw Roy going down the same path as himself, he adopted him. When Roy was 15, Oliver began training him and soon gave him the name of Speedy. As Speedy, Roy is now the sidekick of Green Arrow and a well respected crimefighter among the current superheroes.

When The Question infiltrated AmerTek Labs, Speedy was sent to assist him by Green Arrow after he couldn't make it to assist. Together, with Batman's sidekick Robin, the two helped Question sneak into AmerTek Labs and confronted Molly Griggs, otherwise known as Brainwave. Speedy and his team mates managed to take down Brainwave with the help of Vixen.
